Cocoon/soft carrycot/cosytoes for Baby Jogger City Mini GT?

We've bought the Baby Jogger City Mini GT for DC1 due in December, but I'm having second thoughts about putting them directly on the (big!) pushchair seat and I'd like to get something to make them a bit more snug to begin with. I realise I could just buy the Baby Jogger carrycot, but the lady in the shop warned us off this as apparently it's quite small and quickly outgrown - both DH and I are tall so we're not expecting a small baby!

So, has anyone used a different brand cocoon/soft carrycot/cosytoes with the Baby Jogger and if so, what would you recommend? Also, with a soft carrycot, would you place this on the seat parent facing? How do you secure it in place?

I think you can buy soft carrycots from
Other brands that attach to the d-rings on the seat.

However, if you don't mind second hand you can buy a carrycot from eBay and will most likely be able to resell it for the same price- that's what we did so it didn't matter that it only worked for 4 months.

I used the bugaboo one, can't remember what it was called I borrowed it off a friend but it was lovely and snuggly and fitted well.
