Difference between the various Phil & Teds doubles?

Can anyone briefly summarise the differences between these? I don't know whether several are older models. I know I could trawl through bestbuggy.co.uk bit o was hoping to come across a P&T aficionado who likes talking about these kind of things! I'll have a 2.5yr old and a newborn, and a Nissan Note, if that makes any difference. Will be used for some rural-ish walks and around town and basically needs to do the job of my BJCM but with tandem seats...(I alos had a Versa GT but my non-GT BJCM can cope with most stuff we do).

Thanks very much in advance :)

I have a sport v2, which is an old model, I think the explorer is older again.
The vibe is newer, and apparently folds with the doubles seat on.
That's about the extent of my knowledge but you could have a look on the p&t website for info about the newer ones.

That's very helpful, Bama and Miaow - thanks very much! Most of the second-hand ones I've found are Navigators, I think. We have a Nissan Note with a largish boot but even my Versa, which folded up with the seat on, took up a fair amount of that.

Hi Miaow, sorry only just see this - I definitley want something pretty indestructible, and I do love an invincible insect, so I'll have a little look on eBay!

I certainly see more P&Ts around than any other kind of double, so they must be doing something right.

We've bought a vibe - will have a very large two year old and a newborn. The double seat is big enough for DS and the main seat lies flat with a newborn cocoon available - it's lovely

Maelstrom, this is a daft question but is it standard for the bigger child took on the lower/underneath seat? Or do you get the choice, with some buggies? I suppose you're restricted to the top one of you want to use a carrycot.
