Which buggy - Tall parents, live in a city but lots of country walking

I currently have the uppababy vista which is great for the height, long stride and parent facing. Also very easy to push one handed.

However, I am dreading another winter with it as the wheels get clogged a lot walking the dog.

So, which buggy would suit a one year old with very tall parents, who have a long stride and want to jump on and off city buses and trains, but also walk the dog in the country?

Do you need to sell the vista to get the cross country one or could you keep that for the city and get a mucky dog walking pram? Something like the nipper 360?

I don't have the space for two buggies unfortunately

City jogger - it's great in town, et we also do country walks with it, adjustable handle, easy to fold and store.

Keep the vista, get a little life backpack carrier

Out n about nipper maybe?

ICandy Peach, great for tall parents, nice and easy to fold and works fine for me and OH for city / country life (as long as you don't mind getting it a bit dirty!)

The city jogger looks like a good option. I think we need to go and test drive as there seem to be a lot of models and options.

I really don't think the techno or I candy would cut it as my vista has bigger wheels than both of these and they keep seizing from mud and leaves.

I have a soft structured baby carrier but he's a hefty little boy now and for long trips out it's just not possible to carry him for too long.

The nipper looks great. ...would they fit on a bus?

Baby jogger city mini gt. DH is 6ft7 and the adjustable handle is fine for him. It's nippy around town and handles off road brilliantly.

Get a better carrier rather than another pushchair if you want to go walking. Have you tried one of the backpack ones? I am too short to wear one but my friends loved theirs. I used a wrap sling instead and it was fine, once DD got too big to see over (2 ish) she walked or sat on my shoulders. I was so glad to be rid of the pushchair, they are a pain in the arse if you like to get off road.

A carrier gives much more freedom for walking than any pushchair, even if you get one that can cope with rough roads it still won't be able to get through narrow spaces, gates, stiles, etc. And the off road pushchairs are massive and there's never space on the bus or train for them and you end up having to fold it and lug it (and the child) around anyway.

We brought the oyster because it was the best for us being tall and if others (inlaws) were using-it could be instantly adjusted.
It was also the lightest by far so made it easier when nipping out in car or on the bus so it was too heavy for me to fold and lift out if the way.
We were regularly on walks but not necessarily long country walks so couldn't say have heavy duty it was for that.

But to add when we had been on country walks/trips to farm it was very easy to pop wheels off to clean it all

I am 6foot 4 and i use the Peach 3 i have no problems with it, and it doesnt hurt my back at all, its really well made and i imagine it would absolutely fine on tougher terrain, i personally only use it in the city. there is also the peach all terrain.

The icandy 4-wheeler definitely wouldn't work, but the 3-wheeler might be an option - I found it was only the front wheels on the 4-wheeler that clogged.
