Does this buggy exist?!

Buggy gurus - help please!

I have spent HOURS researching buggies that are suitable for jogging... And had some really useful suggestions from mumsnetters along the way.... But I am still struggling to find my ideal:

A running buggy that can function as a single or double.

Does this exist?!

(I already have a vista which I adore - this one would be purely for exercise, so no need for anything other requirements than the above!)

Thanks!

Do you mean you want to be able to jog with the buggy in twin/double mode? Bugaboo has just brought out a running frame call the Bugaboo runner that you can use most Bugaboo pram seats on. As far as I can see, it means you could have a Bugaboo Donkey that you use as a double pushchair but you can only use one of the seats on the frame, so only jog with a single.
Here in Munich, many joggers use bike trailers for jogging like this Thule Chariot which can also be used on its own as a stroller (www.thule.com/en-us/us/products/active-with-kids/multifunctional-child-carriers/double-child-carriers/thule-chariot-cx-2-_-10101321). My friend has one for her two children that she uses for jogging. Could this be an option for you?

I'd go for a nice agile/nippy double and just put only one kid in it when you want a single? If you buy second hand you could sell it and buy a single once you only need one seat b

Mountain buggy do a double that you can run with I think. It's new for 2015. It's not cheap though for a second buggy.

Thanks guys ... Think the Thule option looks amazing...

I'm worried about the balance should I only have one of them in it iyswim. For space/financial reasons don't want a single and double running buggy. I just wondered if a sort of tandem existed, in line rather than side by side so balance not affected if one child was missing?

Thank you!

Not sure if other bike trailers are the same, but ours if you had just one child in there they sat in the middle so the weight was balanced.

There was a bit of re-routing of the harness but it didn't take long, I used to cycle to school with the youngest in the middle and swap him over to bring both home.
