After doing all the pram research and carefully selecting my pram, I bought it from Mothercare because of the 2 year guarantee.
Very disappointingly I have had to take the pram in for repair 3 times in 4 months (I only live in London and go on pavements!), it's the Silver Cross Pioneer, which I wrote a review on separately.
It was the most expensive baby purchase we made and oh my goodness do I regret not getting it from John Lewis instead of Mothercare. All these times I've had to take it in, they'll offer you a 'loan pram' whilst yours is out for repair for up to a MONTH but they would only offer to lend me a Mothercare one which isn't compatible with Maxi Cosi car seats, or my car ISO fix and the last thing I needed with a 2 month old at the time was to try and figure that out. The shop Manager clearly didn't have children and thought I was being ridiculous because I wanted to use a travel system compatible with my car seat and ISO fix. It was a horrible experience going through all this and I'm now walking around with a dodgy pram until I'm happy not to use the ISO fix in the car with him for a month. I just know the John Lewis customer service would have never made me feel like this and I hope other Mums don't have to go through this debacle with them.
