Needs to be:
-Lightweight
-Strong enough to carry a lot of bags on the back
-Usable from 6months until 3ish years old

  • Preferably steerable with one hand if need be
  • Able to attach a buggy board (not essential)

Will be using it for my 2yo initially but would like to put my 6mo in it occasionally when I can't be bothered to sling him Grin

Don't want to spend over £150, would be better if it was under £100.

Am I asking for a unicorn?!

Hmm lightweight and Bags don't really work, can you get a decent rucksack instead? Then that's one less requirement

I can't really handle carrying the baby and the shopping and the toddler isn't a fan of walking! I will compromise on weight if I can carry shopping on it.

Online shop where possible! Honestly with two 15 months apart here I rarely bought anything bigger than pint of milk out for years. Ocado food delivery, Amazon prime, bulk buy kids party gifts online in sales.

Then get a babyzen yoyo on eBay

If only Aldi delivered!

Forget the lightweight part. If you're walking a lot it's probably more important that it's robust, light to push, got lots of space for shopping (and well built to take it), suitable for either of your DCs and buggy board compatible.

You need a Mountain Buggy Urban. Admittedly not the smallest or lightest to get in and out of a car but very well balanced and exceptionally light to push and steer even when loaded to the gunnels!

Do-able if you're prepared to go for a used one but way outside your budget if you want brand new.

Have a look at the Graco Evo Mini. It's light, can be steered with one hand and the basket is huge!
