What are peoples thoughts on a mamas and papas armadillo flip xt for use from newborn?

hi just as it says above trying to decide on a pushchair for our 1st baby.
the woman in M&P said it would be fine with just a cosytoes however just wondered whether the newborn cocoon would be worth purchasing.

I don't have the xt, I have the flip, which I started using with DS when he was about 4 months, but I think if I'd had it from birth I would have wanted either the carry cot or the cocoon. Although the seat lies flat I think it would seem big and exposed for a newborn.

We have the cocoon for our urbo and I love it. The top part comes off so in warmer months you can use it as a liner, and then add top in the colder months. We rarely need to use extra blankets to keep our son toasty.

Meant to say - we've used it wi him since birth (January baby) he looked much cosier in it than he did in just the seat unit lying flat
