are there any good sturdy forward facing and rear facing pushchairs that have a good size basket under them?? In an ideal world maybe one that has a pram with it too????? thanks, x

Uppababy vista. Huge basket, carrycot top and then seat which is front or rear facing. Can attach car seat too.

Ilovenannyplum · 09/04/2015 11:49

Mothercare xpedior, I can get loads in the basket Smile

lentilpot · 09/04/2015 17:06

Baby jogger versa basket is huge and deep. Can fit an 18 toilet roll pack under with room to spare! Has a pram too.

LittleBairn · 11/04/2015 16:54

The Bugaboo Donkey is very sturdy, all terrain, rear facing, pram part too and has a huge basket. It wasn't for me it's heavy and I have a bad shoulder so I went with the Cam 3 instead.

LittleBairn · 11/04/2015 16:54

Sorry Bugaboo Buffalo.

PettsWoodParadise · 11/04/2015 19:10

I loved my Stokke Xplory. Sturdy, high up so could use at a coffee table and bring child to the table at right height, away from car fumes. Most impotently it faced you at your height ( can also face away) and child learns from you on so many more levels as a result. I used it for three years solid and sold it on eBay for £30 less than I paid for it too!

NishyM · 13/04/2015 10:03

My ICandy Peach 3 has a really good deep basket, really sturdy (but nice to push), faces both ways and has a pram bit that I can use for DD to sleep in

iusedtobecool · 13/04/2015 10:09

I'd second the vista or the versa. The versa has the advantage of being an all in one fold too, albeit a bit heavy.

Psipsina · 13/04/2015 10:09

The Versa is what we're using atm. I swapped over from the mountain buggy we were using as the basket is vast, is high enough not to rub on the wheels or ground, unlike some buggies, and it's rear facing (and can fold that way too).

I have the GT wheels which I love. Thought it was an expensive pushchair when I got it but it's proven to be fantastic. The hood is crap though.

slithytove · 13/04/2015 10:34

I've had the bugaboo donkey and Quinny buzz and been happy with both

Tiggywunkle · 14/04/2015 12:30

Uppababy Vista, Cruz, Baby Jogger Versa, Silver Cross Pioneer, iCandy Peach, Bugaboo Donkey or Buffalo, Joolz Geo.
All have carrycot options too.

Psipsina · 14/04/2015 14:04

Ooh Tiggy, may I ask you something while you're here? (sorry OP - hope it's Ok to hijack a bit!)

We have the old Versa, well when it first came out I mean. Hating the hood. I wondered whether they have changed the design at all in the last couple of years? It's hard to tell from the pictures on the website.

Thank you Smile

Venicci mini silver, love mine. I think it won mumsnet pram of this year this year or last too Grin

athousandsplendidsuns · 10/05/2015 09:02

Love my uppababy cruz (can get in John Lewis)... Pram, buggy seat that faces both ways and huge basket. Been using it 18 months so far with no problems. Bit smaller than the vista which is why I chose it to fit in my car.

WishUponAStar88 · 10/05/2015 09:04

I've found the icandy peach3 very good. The basket didn't seem huge with the carrycot but is much easier to access with the pushchair attached. I also used the carrycot for a couple of overnight stays when dd was little and she slept well in it.

YouMakeMyHeartSmile · 10/05/2015 09:05

Uppababy vista matches your brief completely!

GoMommaItsaBargain · 10/05/2015 19:09

All Above suggestions but poss also mountain buggy cosmopolitan, high weight limit on seat (reversible) and high weight limit on accessible basket that won't drag on ground /kerbs if loaded up, seat can become a lie flat bed but separate carrycot huge and lovely and currently on offer on mb website, no I don't work for them just love my latest mb purchase (nano ) and my duet was fab so based on the amazing quality and sturdiness of both these models I'd buy the cosmo in a flash,,,,,, am contemplating it currently! Bugaboo buffalo and donkey also super sturdy and good quality .
