Bugaboo bee - does the seat recline

Hi, I have the older bugaboo bee (ie not the bee3). My DS is now 8mo and I've stopped moving him around mainly in his car seat on top of the bugaboo and want to use just the bugaboo. However, whenI move the seat up so he's not lying down, he looks like he's going to fall out! According to the manual I've found online, the seat should extend which I'm guessing would help, but I can't get it to. Can anyone confirm whether the seat does indeed extend in the older model and also what they think of the seat position (ie is it just me that thinks it looks uncomfortable?)??

Thanks

I had the old bee plus and got rid for that reason. My dd never looked like she was sitting in it, but more being held in by the straps!
The bottom of the seat and the back rest do extend but it didn't help.

The Bee Plus seat will indeed extend. You need to give it a really good tug outwards. However, a child looks more comfy with the edge of the seat behind their knees unless they have room to put all their feet up on the seat. Make sure the harness is done up really tight and then they won't fall out :)
