Out n About Nipper - is it worth buying the shopping basket??

So I'm completely in love with my single v4 Nipper! It's wonderful. However, I do find the drawstring bag thing underneath a bit small. I've seen you can buy an additional shopping basket but from the pics it looks pretty small and not much bigger than a MacClaren size basket.

Has anyone got one? Is it an improvement on the bag? Can you get a couple of shopping bags in there? Is the bag unusable if the basket is full?

I had a nipper when DS was wee (he's now 8 but I'm presuming the design hasn't changed that much) and I had the shopping basket. I took the view that any extra space was useful. Yes, if the drawstring section is full it does affect how much you can get in the shopping basket, but you learn the best way to pack. The other useful thing I had was bag hooks for the handlebar, but you have to remember not to let go of the buggy if you have bags on there because it tips up. Not a mistake you make more than once or twice!!

Yes, I use mine all the time as less fiddly than the drawstring bag when I just want to grab a dog lead quickly. Also easy enough to take off/put on that I often unhooking the whole thing to take shopping into the kitchen rather than making several trips. I have had 2,4 pt bottles of milk, bottle of wine, eggs, bread and biscuits in it at one time with still room to put stuff in drawstring bag.

The smaller raincover for the carrycot is useless though, takes ages to stretch on and then pings off when you go over a bump, wish I'd gone for the big one that covers whole pram.

The basket is useful to get although the access is poor.
