I have the Jane trider and love it. They have multiple options on car seats and carrycots including afar carrycot and a lie flat car seat. It's great off road and highly manouverable in shops etc. it's not air tyres which I prefer as sister in law had a mountain buggy that had endless punctures etc. it has suspension also. Very i,pressed with the quality and bemused as to why they're such a little known brand in the UK.

I have seen the JÃ ne trider is it maxi cosi compatible ?

I don't think so. I use it with the strata which is their car seat. It was a which best buy a few years ago but not reviewed now as it's an older seat.

I've got a mountain buggy swift. It's had 18 mo of hard core dog walks/rocks/mud/grass/woodland paths etc and I've never had a puncture! It's been brilliant and not too bulky. Only problem is that it's not parent facing but you can use a carrycot/car seat with it for when they are little. I always found my DS loved to look out from 4 mo onwards as hes nosey anyhow!

Also meant to say you can get 'green slime' for the tyres to stop punctures if that's a concern with air tyres!

You can use a maxi cosi on the jane rider pram if you buy the Concord car seat adaptors. I bought my adaptors on eBay they work a treat. I'm fairly sure the adaptors would work in the Trider as its the same pram just 3 wheels rather than 4

Another vote for the jané trider. I'm now on dc2 and it's still great. I've had it over all sorts of terrain and it's never failed me. I have the matrix light car seat which lays flat to be the carrycot or flat car seat. It is quite a heavy car seat but has been a god send for us and reduces the amount of stuff you need to haul about. Also the car seat has 4 different reclines so baby can sit up a little as they get older when in carrycot mode. Pushchair seat will face both ways and pushchair will fold with the seat on. The basket isn't huge and the frame isn't the most compact which doesn't make it the best for shopping but the frame is shaped to allow for a longer stride and it has weight dependent adjustable suspension.
