My lo will be 2.5 when new baby arrives. Lo doesn't walk yet so I'm thinking we'll need a double of some sort. I do use slings and carriers so possibly would use pushchairs we already have (ancient frog and bjcm) and carry one of them. Hopefully lo will be walking soon but she still takes a decent nap and to be honest I'd like to be able to have both safely in pushchsir at times.
I know the bjcm is not great with buggy board and frog would need carrycot for new baby so would be left carrying sleeping 2.5 year old which is not ideal. I've been looking at micralite twofold and it seems great. I love that it can use a carry it and second seat. Worried that second seat might not be hugely comfortable for naps though although if it even allowed shorter nap that might be ok. In my mind it will last a while as built in buggy board will be great once lo walking more but still may need a rest.
I would probably sell bjcm and keep frog. Use twofold when out all day or longer walks where lo likely to get tired and frog when just me and new baby or for short trips with both. I got frog from friend and she gave me buggy board for that as well so will be able to use for short trips.
If anyone has experience of twofold I'd be grateful to hear from you. Any other suggestions welcome too obviously.
