Carrycot compatibility with maxi-cosi Elea?

Hi - we just bought a maxi-cosi Elea and we are hoping to find a secondhand carrycot to get us through the first few months! Does anyone know if most/all carrycot brands are compatible with the maxi-cosi frame?

No, his type of thing is brand specific and usually model specific. Maxi cosi slightly less so, I think the foldable one goes on most of their frames, the older model, the dreami may also fit. If you check the manual it will probably tell you which maxi cosi carrycot is safety tested with your pushchair.

There are a couple on the argos website that are compatible with the elea. The dreami definitely fits as that's what I had.

This pushchair is also designed to be from birth with the baby nest. I used it a few times but I had a spring baby. I wouldn't be happy using the baby nest in winter as didn't feel so protected.
