Second hand Phil & Teds Explorer

For a big 3 month old and big 2.7 year old? I've just moved back to London and really struggling to get about with my clunky old side by side (and older kid constantly poking and waking up baby!!) I met an NCT friend yesterday who had a new Phil and Teds and her little newborn looked lovely and cosy in the cocoon and her big boy looked so comfy in the front. I've been looking today and found a second hand one for £200 that looks in good condition and has two seats with hoods, cocoon, car seat adaptor, rain cover.

Is this a good buy? Is explorer an ok model or is it too old for that price? Anything I should know about that model? Is that all the bits I'll need for it or will I end up buying more? I like it, but it is still quite a lot of money to pay for something second hand. Would appreciate advice.

Also, is it good for buses and tubes?

Thank you!
