Suggestions for Britax B-DUAL

Hi

I would like to know if there is anybody who has experienced in using Britax B-DUAL stroller or recommend me with any other brands that are better. Ideally, I am looking for a pushchair/ stroller that can be used for a toddler and a new born child. I have been searching and come across Britax B-DUAL and Baby Jogger City Select. I have also seen many other pushchairs with good reviews but sadly it is only available online as I want to see it and test it myself from the shops. Anyhow, now I am leaning towards buying the Britax B-DUAL and have few questions. My questions are as follows:

  1. Is it safe using it on steep hill (about a 4 minutes long walking distance) and on ice?
  2. The online description from Amazon states that the capacity is up to 15kg, so, how is this possible if the pushchair is to be used for two children unless they mean per seat? I have emailed Britax and still waiting an answer from them.
  3. How heavy is the pushchair and how manoeuvrable is it?

Thank you so much for the detailed info. I would like to ask you which year did you buy your stroller?
Many Thanks, Munita

I have a bugaboo donkey and I adore it. I've never tried another pram that I like more. It pushes like a dream even when fully loaded (can do it one handed) and goes on any terrain.

I also have a single baby jogger GT that I use as a buggy. So I think the baby jogger double woukd also be good but I think you can't beat the donkey

I had a b dual and it suited me fine. I was walking daily to town centre. I got big babies ( 13 months apart ) and they both fitted nicely. I found the shopping basket huge even with second child in it. I would shop £ 80 and fit it in. Negative was the width and it folds quite big. I don't drive but at time when I put it in cars it could be a tight squeeze. But all in all for my needs it suited me fine :-)

Thanks for sharing! I´ve decided to buy Icandy blossom 3 because of weight issues with others. So far my i didn't come across negative views, any thoughts?
