Cosato Giggle 2

Hi

Just wanted to leave some feedback on our experiences with this travel system. Firstly they look really nice, and people commented on this but the build quality and design is terrible.

We ordered our first one a few weeks before our second child arrived so didnt test it properly till he was born. First trip shopping and we found that the wheels wobbled really badly even on a flat surface.

We got it exchanged for another, again the same wheel wobble issue. The fault looks like the removable rear wheels push each other back and fore on the axle, so sometimes its fine and other times its not depending on where the wheels end up!

In the end we got a full refund and bought a Silvercross which cost more than we wanted to spend but is 100% better build quality.

Thanks for this. Good to know. We were considering buying the Giggle 2. But ended up going for the Britax Affinity instead. Sounds like we made the right decisionSmile

I bought a giggle travel system and sent it straight back as Cosatto lied about it being faulty.
I checked the batch number on the website as advised, website said it was fine to use and not from the faulty batch but for some reason I thought I should double check, so called Cosatto and they confirmed that it was in fact faulty.
They offered to collect it to fix it, they wouldn't replace it with a non faulty one so I just said no thanks, returned it and bought a Mothercare Expedior.

The fact that they lied about it being broken when I was about to put the most precious thing in the whole world in it made me absolutely livid.
They've been on watchdog twice, collapsing with babies in, I think it's appalling that they get away with it Confused

I have a Cosatto Giggle 2.
I am aware of the issues with the Giggle 1, and was wary. However, I know the Giggle 2 has been named so as to make it clear that these are new chassis models.
I have had my Giggle 2 for some months now, with no problems, with a heavy child as the passenger. I have to say its been surprisingly good.

I have the original giggle and it's a fabulous pram. No issues with it whatsoever and their customer service is brilliant. It's extremely easy to fold and steers like a dream. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's a shame that they had an issue with the front bracket on some of the frames which has put a lot of people off, as they are a really great pram.

I am considering the Cosatto Giggle for my second, as my first buggy is so battered I don't want to use it again and the Giggle 2 is a great price for what looks like a stunning pram!

I want to road test it of course before buying online, and can't find a stockist anywhere for love or money. Has anyone spotted one on their travels? Or even a Giggle 2 owning MNer live in London area who would be willing to let me have a quick push and play with theirs?! I have called all the stockists on the Cosatto website and none stock it! John Lewis don't even stock Cosatto at all any more in the shops which is annoying, especially as Cosatto haven't removed them from their stockists list.
