Really Strugg

We are really struggling with our pram choices. I love to nip round the shopping centres and into our nearest city using both the car and train. But he does a lot of mountain biking and I live near a lot of rough cycle tracks so we are looking for something which will cope with both.
Really loved the Joolz but concerned about the small basket and I'm really considering the Uppababy Vista but not sure how it will handle the terrain. I really want a parent facing seat and carry cot option too. We are using a Cybex car seat so fits on to most orams anyway!
Anyone have any ideas? Going to try to get to the pram centre on Wednesday or Friday to see

Could you just use a sling or backpack carrier for the rough tracks? Or maybe try the bugaboo buffalo, it's designed to be quite rugged with large wheels and full suspension but still a parent facing toddler seat.

I'd either have 2 pushchairs is use a sling/pushchair combo.

For proper off road terrain you need something well balanced with decent sized fixed wheels as anything that swivels will just get caught in dips.

Obviously whatever fits that bill isn't really practical for day to day use.

We had similar needs to you - we do a lot of off road walking, but I also like going to shopping centres and into the neatest city. We have the buffalo, which is fantastic for the off road stuff, but after using it for a few months we realised that it was too heavy for me to lift in and out of the car on a regular basis, and it's very big to push around shops. It also won't fit in DM's car and she will be looking after DS when I go back to work. We ended up buying the armadillo flip for in the car and for my DM to use, we were looking at selling the buffalo to have just one pushchair, but nothing really did everything we wanted it do.
