Bugaboo Donkey vs Baby Jogger City Select

Due DC3 in July and I am getting a new double pram, torn between the two. Love the bugaboo but it is obviously pricier.

Has anyone used both / either. Any thoughts in either appreciated.

I had an oyster max for DC1 and 2 (hated that child in bottom couldn't see anything and couldn't recline both seats)

Currently using a baby jogger city mini (just don't like it)

I want forward and rear facing and the ability to use as a single, I also need to be able to attach a buggy board as I will have three children all under three years old.

how old are your kids? my tall 2.9 year old has almost outgrown the donkey seat. it is a really great buggy for a baby and toddler though, especially if you have a baby and a young toddler and you can attach a buggy board, even one with a little seat.
I didn't buy the select because of the length of it and the lack of seating options when you need to have your baby in a carrycot. also when you add accessories such as a carrycot and second seat the select is not as cheap as it first appears. I can see why people like them but personally I found it to long to push so I went for a side by side.
resale value on the donkey is very good. I got mine used for £700, I'm expecting to sell it third hand with more wear and tear for £500-600

Middle child will be 14 months when baby gets here and eldest will be 2.5 so was planning on buying the buggy board as well.

Is there still plenty of room for your youngest?

yes the baby is only six months, she has plenty of room. with a 14 month age gap I reckon donkey is definitely the way forward. if your middle child is tired you will be able to fully recline for sleep, with select this seemed difficult when the baby is in a carry cot.

I just got an ICandy Peach 3 which is great, cheaper than the Bugaboo and much easier to manoeuvre.

I'm just not keen on one kid being stuck underneath the other, my little one hated being underneath in the oyster max. I know there is more room with the peach but it's the same sort of situation x

I know what you mean, I suppose it's depends if you prefer your babies side-by-side or one on top of the other, when my friend puts her DD in the bottom seat she really loves it as she's that bit closer to the ground so can identify animals etc at eye level, plus there is no risk of her babies kicking each other in the Peach.

cheaper than the donkey is the mountain buggy duet but it only parent faces for the baby in carrycot, not for the toddler.

Just seen the new baby vista 2015 model, going to check it out I think. Looks nicer than the baby jogger and obvs cheaper than the Bugaboo,
