Bob revolution pro from birth

We have bought the bob revolution pro, adapter and car seat and wondering about the carry cot. Is this essential or would using the car seat be ok until big enough to lie in pram, pram does not lie completely flat.

I think you will need the carrycot but depends how much you will use the pushchair. The bob seat says from 6 months as it doesnt recline a great deal. Babies should be laid flat as much as possible for their spine development as far as I'm aware. A car seat should be ok for quick trips but should only be used for 1-2 hours. If you don't want to invest in a carrycot, you could also use a sling for the first few months
