Britax motion - with buggy board?

I have a bjcm which I love except for the fact that I'm now using the buggy board more and more and it's really not comfortable. DD1 is basically standing exactly where I need to stand to push it so I end up sort of hunched over with my arms outstretched round her - which is not great to say the least!

If I changed it for the britax motion this would have the added advantage of being able to put my car seat on it when DC3 arrives.

But.... Is it any better with the buggy board? I can't find one in the shops near me so I can't check it out.

Yes, it's better in the buggy board sense, the child can go inside the handlebar. It's nice to push in a straight line but hard to turn I found.

For dc1&2 that's probably okay, one in the buggy, one on the board both hands to push, no potential escapees. With dc3, not only the car seat but you can put the carrycot on too, I had a b agile with cot for dc3 and dc2 on an easy x rider buggyboard. However... When you need 2 hands to push that doesn't leave any for dc1, if they are reliable unlike mine obviously this is fine but I found it tricky sometimes.

It's also quite a bit heavier than a bjcm to lift if that's any consideration.

Thanks ihateparties That's really good to know. The weight in general isn't a problem as it'll just be lifted in and out of the car - no buses or anything.
I had thought of the no free hand for DD1 problem but that'll be true of any buggy I guess (and indeed life in general from now on!?).

Ha, no there are some buggies that you can push totally one handed I didn't spend about a year doing that.. Oh no including doubles and tandems.

I still don't have enough hands, they're 7, approaching 5 and approaching 3, I presume one day that will cease to be a problem?!

I do have a phil and teds so I might just dig that out for a bit - that us seriously big and heavy though, and doesn't solve the car seat problem.

I assume the lack of hands will stop being a problem one day but it'll a good long while for me - you are hopefully near there though?!

Which p&t do you have? Several car seat adaptors do seem to exist but I'm not sure exactly for which models.

it's an ancient one - e3 I think. I always thought the P&T adapters were weird bulky contraptions but perhaps things have moved on a bit since I bought mine?! Off to google.....

Ahhh I have one of those, it's really ancient. I don't think the new small plastic style adaptors fit. Bother.
