We were pretty much set on the Babyjogger GT but I hated the tiny and flimsy carrycot. There is now a deluxe carrycot that looks much sturdier and so we may still go that way. We have older kids with outdoor hobbies so the wheels etc for that also looks good.
However, other minor grips about the Gt include the fact the seat only faces one way and the basket is small and hard to get to.
We also really liked the Uppababy Vista because of the much bigger carrycot, the fact the chair faces both ways, fab basket etc but it is so much heavier than the GT and doesn't lie completely flat so I think we have discounted that. We still like the look of it but it is so much more expensive anyway.
Anyway, we have now seen online that the Casualplay Avant pushchair system seems to combine everything we like about the other two pushchairs.... super light, easy to fold, lies completely flat, easily switches seat position from front to back, has decent sized carrycot, easy to slot in car seat etc etc. The wheels are more traditional so not completely sure how that would work on muddy playing fields but fine for the rest of our life of school runs and city living.
The problem is that I can't find a physical stockist in the UK, only web-only shops. I would be very nervous buying something I haven't looked at or tried wheeling around. There is only so much you can get from a video.
So... does anyone have any experience of one? What do you think?
