Bugaboo Bee Plus owners: how do I extend the seat??

hello,I've just bought a Bugaboo Bee Plus off eBay - such a fab little buggy but I can't get the seat to extend and DD's little legs are hanging off the end ... the two videos I've found on Youtube don't seem to correspond with my Bee either ... can anyone help?

On mine I just pull it out. If you look under the seat can you see it's kind of made of two parts in too of each other? I just hold the sides and pull...
