Umbrella fold buggy that fits in the boot of VW Polo?

Has anyone found a lightweight umbrella fold buggy that fits in the boot of a VW Polo. Preferably one that doesn't break the bank?

My sons old maclaren used to fit in was a bit of a tight fit. Does it have to be an umbrella fold? If not have a look around for a cheaper city mini buggy as they fit in easier

I would love a bjcm but cannot afford one and not found any cheap second hand ones selling nearby.

The red kite zumi is a good alternative to a bjcm at a lower price, it's slightly deeper folded but nearly 10cm narrower so is more like an umbrella fold in open size than a bjcm. I have had one for almost a year and it has held up well. It fits in i10 boot with a wheel off and very easily in our Ibiza estate boot, given the polo is the same platform I would think it would fit in a polo boot without taking anything off.

We have a silver cross surf that goes in my mum's Clio.

We had a polo and tried every umbrella fold in the shop...and nothing fitted. Sorry!

Not umbrella fold but Quinny Zapp fitted in the footwell of a sports car so can't imagine it wouldn't fit the boot of most cars

Check out the hauck buggy sport it folds small not a typical umbrella stroller and not a buggy to be used for walking miles over hills but handy to have in the boot for going shopping.

I would also recommend trying a non umbrella fold, what about a Nuna Pepp as that folds in half? They're usually £200 but I've seen an online offer finishing tomorrow for £99 with a Bounty discount code.

Graco evo mini fits in my mums Clio no problem. It's folds in half so is wider than an umbrella fold but a lot shorter.

Mil has a polo and a maclaren xt.

I have a polo. I can get a bugaboo donkey in the boot but not a small umbrella stroller. I have a hauck sport as a cheapo car boot buggy, its also great for holidays and is cheap. Aldi often have them in their baby events for about £20.

I saw them in aldi this morning at £22.99.

Thank you for all your replies. I will look into the ones mentioned. I have a pram already that fits on the boot. This is for a 2nd, lightweight, go on holiday type of job. Hence why I want as cheap as possible.
