Easy folding pushchairs from newborn

We might be moving to a first floor flat which has its own front door but the hallway is only big enough to actually open the door before you go upstairs. It's not ideal as it doesn't give me enough space to load up pram with baby before heading out into the elements (due Jan '15). So I'm thinking of getting a pushchair which will fold up easily, and have seen the M&P Armadillo and the Baby Jogger City Mini. Are these my only two options? Grateful for advice, or indeed advice on how to juggle things up and down stairs...!

Have a look at the Graco Evo too. I've got a BJCM and bloody love the thing! The seat goes really far back, although I'd use some sort of cocoon or footmuff for a newborn. We've got a John Lewis foot muff that fits it really well.

Look at the M&P Armadillo City too because it is really narrow. Also keep an eye on the new Baby Jogger City Mini Zip which has the most awesome fold! The Graco Evo Mini is lie flat. Look also at the Babyzen YoYo which is an all time favourite of mine. The Babystyle Oyster Gem is worth a look too. Can you hang a pushchair on a wall at all?

icandy raspberry is really good i'm told, it stands up on it's own when its folded and you can use it for a newborn without buying the carrycot.

Thanks for the replies. @Tiggywunkle - is it annoying that the Babyzen YoYo doesn't take a car seat?

We just brought the mamas and papas urbo - easy fold, suitable from birth but has additional carry cot if you want it. Loved it in the shop :)

Addendum - we tried the icandy raspberry in thine shop but is a difficult fold I found, and despite a lot of practice I couldn't actually do it!

Def the babyzen yoyo

Car seat can be left in car. Not good for baby to stay in car seat anyway

Just move baby to sling/ pram when arriving at places. Baby learns to sleep being transferred which makes it easier when older.

We went to see the Babyen YoYo and the iCandy Raspberry yesterday and nearly bought the YoYo there and then! Such an easy fold and so compact. The Raspberry on the other hand was clunky and didn't quite work as it should. Now to find a sling and work out how to use it...

Take a look at the boba 4g sling. Lasts newborn- toddler so well worth it. Newborn used lots, once toddling a little they can walk until tired then carry ( goes on back after a while), and great for 2/3 years olds who rarely use pram any more but might need carry if somewhere late in eve/ long day/ at airport if asleep

Ooh the Babyzen Yoyo is really nice!
