Alternatives to a Bugaboo Bee

We have a bugaboo cameleon which I really like using and ds looks ivery comfortable in it, however I am fed up with the fact that it doesn't find up in one piece and that it takes up virtually the whole of the car boot.

We have a McClaren xt which I just hate so I would like a Bee but I'm not keen on spending another £450 on prams when we have spent a lot already.

Does anyone have any recommendations for alternatives. I'm to go round the shops but just want to narrow my search a bit.

There are lots of options if you're okay with forward facing only, less so if you want a single fold and parent facing. The baby elegance sketch is light and folds with the seat on in either direction, so does the joie chrome, both are slightly smaller than a cam but not hugely. There isn't a cheaper alternative to the bee that is as small and light imo. Baby jogger are bringing out the vue soon, umbrella fold reversible seat. If you dislike the xt I'm not sure how much you'd like that. Another thought is a flip handle like the joie mirus, I'm not sure how I feel about the fixed wheels being at the front, I guess I feel better about it if it's not for full time use.

Forward facing I would suggest stuff like a m&p armadillo city, graco evo, red kite zumi, bj city lite etc.

ICandy raspberry is v like the Bee, but it certainly isn't cheaper AFAIK! Have you thought about a Baby Jogger? (I love the way they fold and would desperately like to get one but my toddler looks like they won't want to be in the buggy much longer, so I can't justify it sadly!)

The Bee is almost the same size as the Cam when folded - if anything its deeper as the bars stick up. The Cam would fit in my car boot, but the Bee wouldn't.
I think Parties has covered most of the other options. Are you wanting parent facing?
Baby Joggers are fabulous. I like the Joie Litetrax too. Or if you are looking for something much smaller, the Babyzen YoYo would be worth splashing out on. The Graco Evo Mini is really good. I like my Armadillo City too, and I would love a new Armadillo Flip. The Recaro Easylife is small and neat too. It really depends what you want though.

icandy raspberry is apparently cheaper than a bee so john lewis told me, plus bugaboo have a new one coming out which is much more expensive apparently! I really like the raspberry, looks really cute!

Mountain Buggy Nano - forward facing only but it is very very light, compact folding, nice to push. Bit of a recline but not full so not newborn suitable.

Or a Babyzen Yoyo but expensive!

I'm in exactly the same situation with both the cam and maclaren xt (which I hate also) and the same decision to make.

After much research, had narrowed it down to the babyjogger versa (too heavy), the oyster 2 (too small), graco evo (nightmare harness), the joie chrome (out of stock everywhere I looked so gave up), have finally settled on an armadillo flip...though we're having to wait until November when it comes out.

The other two I was looking at were the easywalker mosey and mutsy igo but couldn't find them anywhere handy, so armadillo it is.
