What toddler & newborn option

I know it's an often asked question but my specific needs haven't been answered on here yet!

DS will be 2.6 when dc2 is born in January. We live in London, have daily long walks (buggy board not an option just yet) and take buses with just occasional car journeys. Not sure if the toddler will still be napping but I'm hoping so,

Can't recommend my icandy peach3 highly enough - DS is 21 months and tall for his age, DD is 9 months, I put them in my icandy and they fit well because you can unzip the hood at the back of the seat and raise the hood up to make the seat taller. It can fold pretty small for cars and buses, plus it looks great!

Ooh thanks for the reply, thought I was going replyless. I have seen it and do like it but wouldn't like to have to fold it on the bus, wondering if it's too big for bus activity compared to say a Phil and Teds. The only problem with the latter is I don't think the toddler could recline for a sleep.

The peach isn't bigger than a Phil and teds, it's a different shape so may fit into different shaped gaps better/worse iyswim. I'm not sure how you'd get on folding any tandem for the bus though, with a baby and a toddler to handle as well. I don't use much public transport so this really isn't my area, I'm sure someone who does will have something more useful to say.

That issue aside apart from the peach and apple2pear, the oyster max covers what you want, as does the jane twone, Phil and teds promenade, navigator, dot etc. Maybe a city select or mb duet.

I would say go for a Peach3, Apple 2 Pear or Oyster Max.
A Phil & Teds looks neat, but they overhang a long way at the back, and the front sticks out further than you think, leaving the lower child in particular quite cramped underneath. The 3 pushchairs above have better spacing between the seats. Look also at the Mountain Buggy +One. It is a series of compromises, but is pretty neat for a bus. If you can work out the logistics of who goes where and then, its great.
