Peach 3 vs raspberry

Ok here goes, after taking some good advice I decided to order the icandy raspberry, but then actually seeing it in the flesh at a preview event I'm still not 100% sure it will be warm enough for my November baby.

The pushchair itself is fab, and if the baby was due in spring/summer I wouldn't have a second thought. But with it being very open at the sides and with only a cocoon to protect my baby I'm worried he/she will be to cold.

That's where the peach comes in, I love the pushchair but think that it's an expensive piece of kit and I don't really do that much walking to perhaps spend so much on something that will be in and out of my car boot.

Sorry for the essay ladies but what do you think, will the raspberry be ok or should I go for the peach and invest in a carrycot?

From what you have said raspberry, no question. If it makes you feel any better you could go and look at a carrycot, then you will see that it is made of a layer of fabric, with various uprights, the sides of the carrycot aren't actually a solid hard surface. So it's entirely possible that the cocoon will be warmer than a cot because it's got wadding etc sewn in. If you're concerned you could easily add a blanket on top.

Having said that I do understand the psychology of the enclosed space, I love carrycots and would always choose one but I do nothing but walk and push straight into the house so they just make sense with my lifestyle.

If they do britax car seat adapters for the raspberry then it might be possible to fit a britax carrycot on like some people have done on the bugaboo bee?

I have an apple (first bought for DD1 4 years ago) 2 of my antenatal friends bought the Peach. Their DC outgrew them pretty early on compared with mine in the apple. Not sure if they are still the same size? Do you know any friends with toddlers you can stick in to have a look. It's a lot of money if they outgrow it quickly.
