Anybody using a Silvercross Wayfarer?

We've put a deposit down for the Wayfarer for our first baby (due September). We love the style and carrycot, but we've heard some negative reviews about the hardness of the ride. People have said it can be bumpy, hard to push over rough terrain and hard to navigate up kerbs.

Just wondering if anybody has one and what you make of these issues?
Cheers!

heard loads of bad stuff about the wayfarer if i were you id cancel it and get the pioneer which has just come out its same as wayfarer but with better tires

It depends how much walking you do the wayfarer isnt designed for people who are on daily trips out and about walking there dog it for people who are in and out of the car going shopping over smooth surfaces daily if you are quiet an active person then i would recommend to change the wayfarer to something more hardwearing in the wheels. Hope that helps :)

Thanks for the advice. We got a great deal on the Wayfarer (£500 with a car seat included) but I hear the issues you have raised will mean it's a false economy. Might have to put our hands in our pockets for the pioneer, cheers

Be aware the pioneer is a lot wider (like 10cm or so) if that's a consideration for you at all.
