Stokke Footmuff or Softbag for newborn?

Picked up a rather dashing Stokke Scoot the other day... We're wondering if a Footmuff or a Softbag is more appropriate for a newborn? Is one more comfortable, or secure at that age?

Softbag! Always! A softbag is specificaly design for a newborn in the scoot it has a reinforce hard layer in the base of it. Also the stokke footmuff is massive and would swamp a new born baby hope that helps :)
