Good second hand pushchair for use with buggy board.

Just that really, I'm going to clean up and sell my dot as we haven't used it as a double in an age. What's good to get to replace it?

I'm not in the countryside and mostly use my pushchair for going to the shops or on the tube.

I'm fairly tall, so don't really want something where I feel my DC is really low to the ground. Would ideally like something that lies semi flat.

Really not bothered by parent facing.

I also don't want something that looks flimsey.

Would like a decent hood.

I already have a BCMJ, but a board on that is impossible .

If you are tall, like me, you may struggle with a buggy board. I spent the whole time kicking it!

Can you borrow one to try before you buy one? We were given ours as a gift, so at least I hadn't paid for it.

Have you considered a buggy pod? How old is your older DC? I'll find a link for the buggy pod.

I also looked for a link to the Bibi Strolli rider, but it seems to be off e market at the moment. You may be able to get a second hand one.

I've never heard anything good about the pod but lots about the strolli rider. A board you can get your feet under helps and it's kind of a fact of life that you don't get to talk entirely normally. I've used a lot of combinations and board, nothing is standing out as being perfect. However I head the oyster with board is good, the mutsy evo and concord wanderer both have a big gap that looks good for using a board, there will be used oysters and evos, probably not the concord.

The bj versa was okay (like a mile better than the bjcm), I had a brio smile, that was great but imported. I suspect the jane muum might work quite in well but can't be sure.

You may be just as well putting a board on the back of mac xt or a joovy groove, that type of thing. IMO board work a lot better with a parent facing pushchair but after lugging a tandem around for a while there can be a desire to go with something more genuinely simple and smaller.
