Hi what I'm looking for and struggling to find is a buggy which folds up small in one piece to fit in a tiny boot and would be good on rough ground while walking a dog.

Anyone help? Oh and doesn't cost a fortune!!

What sort of shape folded do you need and what do you class as a fortune Grin ??

A baby jogger city mini gt is my best shot, smallish folded, esp with wheels off, decent mild off road and not a huge amount of money, although at almost £300 not exactly cheap.

The britax b motion 3 or 4 is pretty compact folded really and is cheaper, although maybe not massively unless on offer.

None of these are particularly light but really robust and light aren't easy to find.

I ended up with a red kite zumi fitted with an unapproved valco sport wheels kit (air tyres) imported from the US. It's not in the same league but definitely a step smaller and lighter than the gt and b motion (I had those previously). Even with the normal wheels on it's generally fine over grass etc.

Up to £120 really. I did look at the baby jogger lite but dunno if my other half will let me spend nearing £200

I've been looking at a red kite one www.tesco.com/direct/red-kite-baby-push-me-urban-pushchair/799-0526.prd?skuId=799-0526&fromRV=true

And also m.direct.asda.com/Babyway-Jogger-Pushchair/002689297,default,pd.html#reviewsContent

I almost got a second hand quinny buzz but when I looked into it more it seems similar to the mothercare expiedor which is what i already have and takes up my boot and rear passenger seat of my Toyota aygo

Could you get a second hand Zia for the boot and use a decent sling for walks?

Lauren2011, I too am looking for the same thing you are..... and sorry to say I haven't found it yet..... it probably doesn't exist.

Was gonna go with the gravo EVO mini but I just don't think it's going to handle anything other than smooth paths. Am still toying with the idea of getting the zumi as suggested by ihateparties.

I looked at the baby jogger lite, but it hasn't got particularly good reviews. Look on bestbuggy website and you'll see what I mean.

If you find something, do let me know :-)

Go for a good sling (not a baby bjorn type!) for walking the dog - also easier for when the dog goes on the lead as lots of prams need 2 hands to push; then get a compact lightweight pram for use around town etc.
