Phil and Teds Dot - worth it?

I will have a (only just) 3 year age gap when my second DD is born. I currently have a bugaboo cam and currently use a BJCM which is fab. I was pretty sure I was going to get a buggy board for the bugaboo but have had a look at the P&T Dot which looks pretty good (would sell the bugaboo). DD1 is tall and looks 3 now but she looked fine in the second seat up front, she walks loads but it does make even short journeys take a very long time....I'm just worried about the inevitable 'carry me' meltdowns in the middle of winter if I don't have any buggy option....thoughts would be appreciated!

I have a dot and buggaboo bee (that I now use with a lascal mini) and couldn't have done without the dot. However, I had a 2 year gap, a wild 2 year old that quite frankly needed to be strapped in sometimes, and live in a hilly area. The dot is relatively heavy so I will use the bugabee if on tube etc. I'd go for the buggy board and keep the cash aside for emergency cabs/ bus if desperate!!

Thanks burrito! I am so torn, I loved the bugaboo but I do like to walk a fair bit and leave the car at home as much as possible but thus can mean a walk of 40 minutes to town and back again....would your 2 year old stand on the buggy board for long periods or tend to hop on and off?

I walk loads and as last summer was so nice I used the dot everyday. The lascal would fit on both the bugaboo or dot if that helps? By 2;9 ( he is now 3) he would stay on the buggy board on footpaths, walk around the shops/supermarket, then back on. The buggy board was a saviour on holidays.
