Baby jogger versa GT wheel kit

Hi I've seen that you can buy a GT wheel kit for the versa on the baby jogger website, but it's only available in the US. What's the reason for this? Would the wheels fit on a versa bought in the Uk?

When we got the Versa GT here in the UK, Baby Jogger said that GT wheels must not be fitted to a standard Versa because the tooling inside was different. Baby Jogger here in the UK stopped all sales of unjustified GT wheels to prevent people doing this. And then Baby Jogger produced the GT wheel kit which has left everyone confused. I don't believe they being brought to the UK (although never say never) and I suspect they would have to be safety tested here before going on sale. In theory, yes they fit, in practice, they arent safety approved here.
