Can the buggy collapse with both seats in?

Thanks. Can the seat or be put in a frontal position to fold?

If not how big is that second seat?

Thinking about taking it abroad

You can fold it with seat in one position but not the other, can't remember which. It is huge when it folds though. But then all double pushchairs are.

TribbleWithoutATardis · 07/05/2014 08:01

Indith I would disagree, I admit they're not the smallest things in the world but the fold is small enough that they fit into the boot of my Micra with the wheels popped off.

ElBombero · 07/05/2014 09:18

So there is a way to fold with both seats in? Brill. I take it the main seat doesn't come off usually?

Depends which one you have, think the vibe folds with both. Its easier and smaller folded without the back seat on with the other models.

Think you can fold with the back seat on the front though. You can also buy travel bags.

What model do you have?

HavannaSlife · 07/05/2014 09:26

You can take the main seat off to wash or replace with a forward facing seat but its a pain

tortoisesarefab · 07/05/2014 09:28

i have a dot and it folds with both seats on when the second seat is on the top. it is also really compact when folded. especially when you take the wheels off.

HavannaSlife · 07/05/2014 09:30

And the doubles kit isnt very big I just take it off fold the pushchair and stick it in the main seat

morethanacondiment · 07/05/2014 09:34

I've got a bog standard P&T's and take it on flights. Sometimes I've collapsed it with the 2nd seat on, and sometimes I've just stuck the 2nd seat on top after I've collapsed it, before tying it together with a bungee cord. It does need the cord to keep it all together.

ElBombero · 07/05/2014 09:34

Not sure on model just bought a second hand one off eBay for hols. Picking it up at 11

ElBombero · 07/05/2014 09:36

Thanks, if doubles kit not big may pack it around clothes. Toddler won't need pram at airport

OP posts:
ElBombero · 07/05/2014 09:36

More than great idea just a standard cord?

OP posts:
HavannaSlife · 07/05/2014 09:46

Not big at all, you could get it in a case if you needed too, it depends if you have the 'elbows' with it as to whether you can put the back seat on the front though

Yep post the pics if you can

ElBombero · 07/05/2014 23:21

It's the sport. Bloody love it !! Think I'm gonna sell my surf and keep it as main pram. Just a shame about car seat not fitting onto them, I have the maxi cosi one x

OP posts:
HavannaSlife · 07/05/2014 23:24

I think they do with a car seat adapter but if you have to take the main seat fabric off I think, ill check for you im on lots of fb p&t websites

HavannaSlife · 07/05/2014 23:30

Yep its called a TS4 adaptor and fits with the maxi cosi car seat x

HavannaSlife · 07/05/2014 23:35

It depends which maxi cosi you have though, you don't have to take the fabric off the seat but you cant use the doubles kit when you have the car seat attached

RaisingSteam · 07/05/2014 23:40

We used to pop the doubles seat up onto the top position (the elbow connectors lived permanently in place for this) and then fold it as one.

It folds with the wheels all to one end so it has a narrow end and a wide end IYSWIM The main seat is just a fabric sling so it folds flat inside the frame. I should think with a luggage strap around the whole thing it would be OK for transport, it's quite robust.

ElBombero · 08/05/2014 07:18

Thanks I'll look at that adapter it might be abit of a faff if seat hasti be removed. He's 8 months now so won't be in that car seat for much longer.

Does anyone have the snooze UV shade? Is it black out? X

OP posts:
HavannaSlife · 08/05/2014 09:23

You can def leave the fabric on and the adaptor just slots in where the bumper bar is, they are a bit pricey though unless you can pick one up on line.

Not sure if they are black out but some of them are very thick, I never used mine but id say its probably quite dark in there when its on. You can get them with a zip opening central piece which are good. I have a shade a bebe which you can buy at koddicare
