Stokke - seeking advice

Hi I would just like to find out the manageability of the Stokke Xplory and Crusi on public transport as I am considering getting this pushchair now.

I would also like to know whether or not a newborn can go in the seat?

Thanks Smile

I had a Stokke Xplory for my DS (he's now 7, so a while ago) and I absolutely loved it. We used the seat from newborn and didn't bother buying the extra carrycot piece, having learned that lesson with our DD who hated her carrycot with a passion.

I found it really good for use in town, escalators etc are easy as you just tip it back on two wheels. I didn't use it on public transport much but don't remember any problems with this. The really lovely thing about it is the height, so easy to talk to DS when wheeling about & so much nicer to sit him in the Xplory & wheel him up to the table at a cafe rather that using grubby high chairs.

I resold mine after DS had finished with it & received a very good price for it so actually the cost of ownership was surprisingly low.

I echo what the PP said. I had an Xplory with my first daughter and loved it. I stupidly sold it when I found out I was pregnant with my second (talk about baby brain) and I really miss it.
I don't think you need the carrycot. We had it but didn't use it for long at all so a bit wasteful.
