This is the buggy I am going for when dc2 arrives in Sept. DD1 will be 23 months. I understand there are 3 carry cots - the main one, the upper and lower. Is there any reason why DC2 can't go in the bottom carrycot when the upper chair is empty while dd1 is at nursery? Is it a hassle to use it like this and is there a reason people prefer to use it as a single with the main main carrycot when the older dc is not around? Also, are the upper and lower carrycots the same, eg if i bought a 2nd hand twin with upper carry cot only, would it fit into the lower space?

Secondly, is the twin the same as the peach 2? I dont want a peach 1 due to the threads i have read about dc2 growing out of the lower seat too quickly. Was there a twin 1 with the same problem as the peach 1?

Thanks for alll your advice

In order to get a peach 2 you need to avoid the blackjack, sweetpea and tomato colours, they are all the peach 1. A peach 2 will be Parma violet, silver (I've forgotten what they called it) black (again specific name is lost to me again:-/) or berry Bon Bon. If very new then there are a couple of other colours too but I doubt there will be many of those being sold on yet.

The blossom 2 carrycot is the same one for the upper and lower positions, it also fits in the single position but Icandy don't like this being done, they want people to use the main carrycot. Up to you to decide what you think about that. All you really need is the peach 2 chassis, 1 main seat, 1 blossom kit (converter bars and lower seat) and 1 blossom carrycot (as fits upper, lower and main position). I don't see why you shouldn't leave it set up exactly as is while eldest is at nursery, I guess most people don't because it looks a little odd with the empty front seat.
