Pushchair's handle extention - any ideas?

My husband and I am quite tall and wandered if any of you have ever tried any extentions for the pushchair handle.
We have to go for a pushchair that is quite tall, but on the other hand folds nicely to fit our small car booth, so decided to go for Baby Jogger City mini. It looks almost perfect but missing the extending handle.
We were thinking about attaching something like Bicycle Handle Extender. Have you tried anything like this or other customised solutions?

My husband is very tall (over 6ft 7) and broad-shouldered) and found the City Mini GT handle comfy enough at it's tallest. I was a bit concerned that his long legs would kick the baby when reclined, but we ended up going with something else anyway.

The GT is a bit more expensive and a bit bigger folded, but the fact the handle is broader and taller would have made it worth it for us.
