Fitting carrycot on BJCMD

I have a (second hand) BJCMD, and the carrycot that belongs to my BJCM single.

But I can't fit the carrycot on the double. The pin clicks into the pram on one side (the outside), but I can't find anywhere to attach the second pin in the middle of the double (in between the two seats). Any experts?

I think it's the hole the hood is in, so you remove the hood on the side you want the carrycot on. The hoods that remove individually turned up in 2011 iirc.. I think that's why the carrycot is only compatible with doubles from then onwards. I had a 2010 cmd and the hoods were a single unit, it wouldn't have taken a carrycot.

Thank you very much. That is good advice. I'm not sure how old this second hand one is actually. I will have to inspect it later on - will report back. Newborn plus toddler with chicken pox taking up a lot of time atm
