Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere. I'm due dc3 in October I'm planing to use dc2 bjcm but need carrycot. Ie read online that babyjogger will be releasing a new model deluxe carrycot in 2014. I was wondering if anyone knows when this is likely to be as have looked online and cannot find it anywhere. I do not want the compact version so holding out for this one.

No idea on the new model as haven't seen anything on it either, though if they're sticking to 2014 then time should hopefully be on your side Wink

But, what I was going to say is that if they postpone the release then see if you can get the previous deluxe carrycot, from a retailer with the old stock perhaps or online. We used it with DS and are reusing with DC2 due in November, it was fantastic, really lovely. We took of the seat unit from the BJCM and just had it like a pram. Very comfy, plenty of room, and it came with a little insect/cat net thing attached by a zip to the hood. Not essential when pram hunting, but actually it was great because it was a subtle way to get people to stop trying to pick DS up! I'm not miserable really, but it was winter, everyone was sick, and most of the time he was asleep...

I really wanted one for my baby due in July, so emailed baby jogger. They said its due for release at the end of August. It does look gorgeous doesn't it! As it's too late for me, I've bought the compact plus from amazon and will take the covers off my elite. Although it does look better, if you look at European sites it's going to retail for £200? whereas my compact plus looks absolutely fine and was £90 I think, delivered. Just a thought, and I'm not usually one for going for a budget option!

The American review sites btw compare it to uppababy vista carrycot for size / quality etc.

nbryant are there pictures online? I too am hoping it appears before our DC1 (due in nov). I would really like a carrycot that can be used for occasional overnight sleeping and it sounds like this might do. I think I may try and get the buggy second hand to defray the cost of the new carrycot!!
