There is a moutain buggy or something that has 3/4 seats on it and there is an obaby triplet buggy :) id google both as im not sure on the names

rustykoala · 22/04/2014 17:25

Travel system as in car seats? Hmmm there's a mamas and papas one I think. Baby jogger and mountain buggy do/used to do triple side by sides, I don't think they take car seats. I don't think the abc does either but if I was having triplets that's what I'd get... Well actually I'd get a mountain buggy duo with double carrycot until they could sit up.. Then get something else Grin

theres also a peg perego triplet system with a steering wheel thing on it do you have a budget OP ?? ihateparties she said triplets not twins unless you mean squashing 3 babies into the duo carrycot on the mountain buggy ?Confused

Yes the mountain buggy does a twin carrycot which easily fits triplets in for 6 months or so. It's the old style one so lots on eBay often

Ihateparties · 23/04/2014 13:55

Yep, 3 in the double size carrycot until they got too big, then an abc.

Pushchairs for triplets are very limited.

I agree that a Mountain Buggy with the Twin carrycot is the neatest option in the early days. That would be my choice too.

Beyond that the options are really a Peg Perego Triplette or an Ingelsina Domino Trio - I believe both of these take 3 car seats.

For a triple pushchair, the main options apart from the two above as a Mountain Buggy triple or Baby Jogger Triple - both very hard to find on Ebay. A Kidz Kargo Triple umbrella fold which is suitable from birth. There is also something on Ebay called a Trippy Triple Baby which looks interesting. The ABC Adventure buggy can have 3 reclining seats, but it really is a beast and not easy for the car. Great for walking with though.

The trippy thingy on ebay is one of those unsafe EU prams from poland or someplace though there supposed to break easily id go with a peg perego or the double carrycot idea as long as the baby fitted ok

I'd go for mountain buggy they are amazing. I've had mine for years and years and it works as well as day 1.
