I currently have 3 pushchairs for 1 16 month old who doesn't even like being in a pushchair. It's a long story I got a bit obsessed and haven't actually paid full price for any of them. Anyway my husband is in the raf and we are being posted to Cyprus for 2 years in June. So I'm trying to decided which pushchair/s is best for Cyprus and which ones I should sell or store. Obviously I don't need to take 3. Its actually really stressing me out and I'm massively over thinking it so could use some help. Ok I have a babyjogger city versa, a uppababy vista and a maclaren techno xt...ridiculous I know. So the one I use most is the versa which I really love but the downside to this I feel is there isn't much ventilation compared to the other two with plastic on the peekaboo windows will it get too hot in there in Cyprus, also when fully reclined the hood doesn't actually cover that well but then I can always throw something over there I suppose if she is asleep(which isn't often). The Vista has better ventilation and better seat positions but I find it harder to push/manoeuvre, fold and its bulkier (I have a 2010 frame with a 2012 seat unit so maybe I'm finding it a hard push as frame is a bit old. I could update the frame for £160). The maclaren is also quite old and it has the old 2 handed seat recline which I don't really like but it's very airy and has that big hood/good for travel.
Also thinking I may have another baby while out there and the vista has the good carry cot so maybe worth keeping but have seen online babyjogger are bringing out a great new carrycot for the versa but not sure when this will be available in uk/Europe.
As you can see I'm massively over thinking and am not sure what to do. I'm thinking maybe sell the vista and take the Versa and maclaren or take the vista and maclaren and leave Versa at my mums (I don't think I want to sell versa just yet) or I could just sell them all and buy a new maclaren or babyjogger city mini for lo and start again if I have another baby. Also will be travelling back and forth to uk so need to think about that...I've travelled a lot with the versa and find it really good. I do like having a parent facing option but she will be 18 month by the time we go so maybe not essential. Soooo confused and can't talk to hubby about it as he thinks I'm nuts.
If your have managed to stay with me thank you and I would really appreciate any thoughts/advice. Xxx
