Pushchair for dc2

Ds will be just/nearly 2 when dc2 arrives
Dh says we won't need a double pushchair and could just get a buggy board! I disagree and think he is being crazy!
I want the oyster max as we have the oyster, I have no issues with it and our car seat will clip on it

For some children a buggy board works really well. I personally wouldn't get a buggy board with one so young.
I had a 2.4 year gap and a year later we still use the double on occasion. Sometimes you just need to be able to strap them both down and go.

Who spend the most time carting the kids about? They decide.

I will have a 2.2 gap and have got a double. DS walks at about one mile an hour and in any case, he can't nap on a buggy board. I think a double would make your life a lot easier for the first six months. As said above, some
Etimes you need your toddler safely strapped in for a while. If yours doesn't nap in the buggy you can get boards with seats on, but if I were you I would sell the oyster and get the Max. You could save a bit by getting it used, they haven't been around long so would be nearly new.

Words - I wrote that I would have them on my own the most (mat leave and teacher) but deleted it as thought people might be a bit Hmm about it!!Wink

I think dh has unrealistic ideas tbh, I have suggested selling the oyster and getting a max, it seems like a logical idea to me as can use as a single or double and get a buggy board for things like popping to the park if I know ds isn't up to walking all the way!

we sold the oyster and got a Max. no regrets. 17mo age gap but the 2yo still sits in a lot.
