Lascal buggy board help needed!

My dh decided to attach the extender kit to the buggy board before we knew if we needed it and now I can't get it off!

He was trying to be helpful but seems to think instuctions are just put in the box to be ignored.

Am I being really daft and there is some special way to get them off or am I just not strong enough to unscrew them and have to wait for dh to get home to try (get stressed and nearly break them).

Please tell me they come off and are not stuck for ever.

I think they just unscrew?
It could be that they were misaligned when screwed together so have threaded incorrectly, so need a bit more elbow grease to unscrew?

Dh came home battled with it for a bit and it finally unscrewed, so you were right it just needed some elbow grease!

I think i need to get the bean tins out and work on my muscles
