Hauck 2014 range

has anyone read the new hauck PDF catalogue on there website ?? ive just downloaded it and read through they have some nice stuff it seems like they are upping there game a bit i guess the quality could be as bad as ever the only good travel system they ever produced was the infinity

Nay! They've just made them look better with modern colours but
I'm sure there still rubbish qaulity.

that's what i thought too wish they still made the infinity prams they actually got in bang on right with those sigh

I'm reserving judgement, they are making some much improved car seats now, it's possible some pushchairs could follow...

The car seat look super plastic y to me and at £179 for the older child one i saw it doesn't look worth the price at all

Depends on how you define worth the price I suppose. That's the one that's gaining a reputation.

Hmm what kind of reputation though all ive heard is awful things about them they have a new "london" travel system on boots @ £400+ seems terrible given the brand

Don't get me wrong, every hauck thing I've had has been awful, to the point of entirely dysfunctional in one case. I just meant the varioguard rear facing 0-4 car seat is apparently good and a lot of people are happily paying that price for it.

id rather go with a maxi cosi or a britax or something anything but hauck wish they were better quality some of there designs are really good another thing i noticed with there car seat is that most are white a white car seat with a baby in it it'll all mucky and scuffed etc in no time

My post has disappeared somewhere, it may turn up later if so sorry for repetition... The equivalent britax and maxi cosi extended rear facing seats are a hundred odd quid more than the hauck one, I guess that's maybe why. I'm not a big fan of the white/grey plastic but meh, not too bothered either. The britax ones look similar, this type of thing. I do still have a vague hope they will make a properly good pushchair again... Eventually.

i have emailed hauck telling them how shoddy their products are maybe if every mumsnetter emailed them they would get the message to improve or leave it to the trusted baby brands and retreat [email protected]
