First pushchair

Hi, I'm looking for my first pushchair and I have fallen in love with the bugaboo chameleon 3. However to justify spending this sort of money I'm thinking about the donkey version as we would like to try for a second baby in the short future. We are trying to get everything in neutral colours so we can spend more once and for everything to last. Any advice would be great.

Just needing advice whether loosing space with the duo donkey is worth being able to keep it for the future? Or if I shouldn't worry about having it for two and focus on getting a good single one. Also the camelon 3 is updated, does anyone know if the donkey has the same updates? Or is an older version. Thanks any advice about buying a first pushchair would be great

I'd stick with the cameleon, the great thing about bugaboo is their excellent resale value second hand, the cam3 is currently fetching around 500-600 second hand after a years use (assuming good condition) , most pushchairs are worth peanuts after a couple of months of use.
The donkey is a very different pushchair to the chameleon, it's not compact folding, it's not lightweight either. Also the seat and carrycot are quite narrow in comparison to the cameleon. It is beautiful to push though (nicer than the cam IMO) but can be prone to tipping towards you if you hang anything on the handle. The basket is great on the donkey though and the side basket is fab.

Go for the chameleon. The seats much bigger so lasts longer. Can always add a buggy board/ use sling if another child ( worked well or us with 15 month gap)

Buy the Cameleon and work out a double when you know your age gap - different doubles suit different age gaps. Keep all the boxes and packaging and look after it and you should recoup a chunk of money back at the end.
The seat sizes are not much different between the Cameleon and Donkey BTW.

Thank you for all your input, I think I will get the chameleon and then sell it on, it's good to know they hold some value to resale. I hadn't even heard of a buggy board, and a sling is a good idea. Thanks
