recommendations for good buggy and carseat for £250 or under?

hi, have an uppababy cruz but looking for a more budget second pushchair and a good quality compatible car seat to store at family members' house for when we stay with them. baby is currently six weeks old and the car seat will need to last a year and the buggy ideally longer. the buggy just needs to be comfortable and compact and ideally good storage basket. like the look of the oyster gem and city minis but ideally something a bit cheaper - for the buggy and carseat would like to keep it around £250. any suggestions for a good buggy / carseat combo in this price bracket? thanks

In this scenario I might consider a 0+/1 carseat.. joie stages/tilt/steadi hauck varioguard etc. and lose the compatibility feature.

As for cheaper end buggy that takes car seat, sticking with assuming you need that feature, I have red kite zumi atm. It's compact, easy to fold, easy to push, decent wheels, narrow and completely lie flat with adjustable leg rest. Circa £105. It's great for the money and comes with maxi cosi adaptors. You may squeeze a b agile and babysafe into your budget too. A little larger and a more solid feeling than the red kite. The baby jogger city lite might work but i'm not sure it takes a carseat.

There are some very good deals on travel systems here, loads down to under a £100, that were around £180 OR some that are usually above your budget that are now cheaper, if that makes sense - click here

Any good??
