iCandy Stroller only at 6 months??

Hi,

I have the iCandy World Edition and after checking the official advice have seen that the stroller should only be used 6month+

My daughter is now 4 months and born 9lb she isn't a small baby (long not fat) and hates going in the carrycot part as she can't see anything and gets frustrated.

Have any other mums used the stroller pre 6months and did you have any problems if so.

Thank you Lisa x

I used my apple on the semi recline position from about 4.5 months and DD was far happier like that. I just made sure she was never in it for too long and never on the fully sat up setting.

I used strawberry from about 4.5 months as DD simply outgrew carrycot!! no probs to report!

I used the seat for both of mine from about 4 months and no problems here. They were much happier in it.

The longer you can keep your baby flat in the carrycot, the better for their spine, and organ development. Whilst a baby may seem fine sat upright, their internal organs are being squashed and babies grow in their sleep. Try to give your baby something else to look at in the carrycot - mobiles or fabric books or toys off the bumper bar for now.

I used my iCandy Cherry from about 4 months. To be honest she was ready at this stage to sit up a bit but even if she wasn't I had little choice as she had gotten too big for the carrycot. I found that the cosytoes supported her really well and in the lie back position she was fine in the pushchair seat
