Waterproof footmuff that will fit the Uppababy Vista?

I'm looking for a footmuff to use with our Uppababy Vista and ideally it would be at least showerproof. So many of them are made out of fleece or something that would just end up sodden - we're in the South West and it doesn't often get really cold but it certainly is wet!

We've got a rain cover but I can see that being a pain to keep putting on and off if its only drizzling a bit or if we're in and out of the shops. At 10 weeks DS already has form for screaming the place down if I leave the raincover on the bassinet once we go inside a shop!

So, your thoughts please on a suitable footmuff and also whether you think a showerproof one would be useful or if I'm just over thinking it.

Sorry, should add that I am aware that Uppababy make a footmuff but I think it looks naff, plus it is £££ Shock

Have you seen the Kaiser ones? Showerproof and super snuggly. Have had lots of compliments on my Kaiser Iglu.

I hadn't, thanks. A couple of comments online suggesting that it might not fit the Uppababy - do you think otherwise?

I might also see if i can justify the John Lewis sheepskin one - even more ££ than the Uppababy, but it looks beautiful Blush

The Kaizer ones are great. We gave an Iglu. But they are big and bulky.

I'm not sure if it fits the Vista - it fits my Versa ok and they seem similar sizes (my friend has one).

The JL sheepskin looks gorgeous! I have a cheapish sheepskin inside the Iglu as a liner as I think it makes it even more snuggly and stops sweating. Then I just use the sheepskin liner in the summer.

Thanks. Pffft! I may be over thinking the whole thing and an ordinary one might be fine with the rain cover but why don't they make more of them at least showerproof?! I went into town today and the ordinary black JL will fit fine and it's dead cheap. Those Kaiser ones look good but if, as Bike says, they are bulky, it might drown both Visa and DS (I'm thinking ahead as he's not yet 12 weeks and quite small).

I know you would think they would - it's such an obvious thing. I bought the kaiser when my large DC grew out of the quinny sleeping bag style footmuff I was using. They are big but nice and snuggly.
