Silver cross wayfarer v Uppababy Vista...????

I've been trying to decide between the silver cross wayfarer and the Uppababy vista. The Uppababy has great reviews and seems to be very high on the Which? list but I can't help but love the wayfarer! The only thing that puts me off the wayfarer is the wheels.

I was just looking to see if anyone had experience of either?

I want to love the wayfarer, I get stuck on the wheels too though, really not convinced they're good enough. The Vista is all round great if you can handle the size. I hate big so not for me but loads of people love them and with good reason.

If I was starting again not I'm genuinely not sure what i would get. A baby jogger versa and easywalker mini would be on my list. I've nearly bought a graco evo on more than one occasion. The concord wanderer looks great.

There are loads of good options, what are your priorities?

Well I'll mostly be out walking or using public transport to get into town so would need something that wasn't too bulky. I mainly want the smoothest ride as possible for LO

I've never seen the wayfarer but I love my vista. The basket alone makes it a must if you are walking, I could fill it up in minutes somehow. Everyone chucks their stuff underneath, we've got a cup holder for the cold walks. You can lock the front wheels if you are walking off road. Pretty smooth ride for LO, she always goes straight to sleep (6months-now in seat) bassinet was good as Moses basket downstairs. Used public transport all summer with it.

The Vista is officially bulky Grin if you walk it can be no issue but public transport could be a problem (or not depending where you live).

The smoothest pushchair of the many I have pushed was a bugaboo gecko. If smooth is what you want then air tyres may be the way forward.

The Wayfarer is absolutely gorgeous - probably luxury at its best in the pushchair world .....
However the push is not great and I wouldn't buy it if you walk lots. For walking it would be the Vista.
I agree about looking at the Baby Jogger Versa or Easywalker MINI, and I would also add a Britax Affinity to the list. All are gorgeous to push. The Britax is very surprising and has fabulous suspension and I loved walking with it. The Versa is a great all rounder. I love the Easywalker because its unfussy, neat and narrow.
