Bjcm double or jane twone

This is my last baby and my dd will be 22 mths old so need a double. I really like the bjcm double as it is so light weight the only thing that puts me off is the width and how i will cope withit in town while shopping.
The jane twone looks quite good for the price as dont want to spend a lot of money on my last pushchair. I just dont know what to do. Any advice will be grateful Smile

If you get the twone you can use it as a single when your eldest has outgrown the need, so potentially more versatile.
i am in a similar position, DS will be 26m when the baby arrives so looking at doubles. I like the look of the twone but it looks hard to get a toddler into the lower seat (although could buy a carrycot and put the baby at the bottom) and the lack of basket space would be annoying if carrying around stuff for two kids. I am looking at the duet quite seriously.

I would of thought bjcm double would be fine unless you need to go in lots of smaller independent type shops? I used a double nipper ( the older one not the new mere 72cm one!) and could fit it everywhere, even in disabled loos, you know the ones in places like Costa that also have a fold down baby change table in them. Nipper was amazing easy push, one handed, am tempted currently! Had only 26 month gap tho with dc1 and 2 but now for dc3 have 3 yr gap so like katandkit am thinks duet. Thinking carrycot and poss seat or certainly carrycot and the Joey.....figure the extra storage for a 5yr old, 3 yr old and the newbie mayb handy, plus with the freerider for anyone who needs to rest legs. My friend has a bjcm double with the carrycot on one side and it does look fab, in my experience side by sides are very easy to use/access either child and could always trade in for an inline when elder child mainly walks?

I went into kiddicare and had a looked at the jane and im gonna stick to the bjcm. My 18mths head was at the top of the hood in the bottom seat and i tried my 2 1/2yr old nephew on the top and his head was at the top. So realistically i would only have a yr and a half use in it and i know i will need it till dd is 3 1/2yrs cuz my kids are no angels!Hmm
The bjcm has so much space and i personally dont like these new doubles i like that every child is comfortable in they seat and i do t think that the child underneath would be. Hopefully i wont get stuck anywhere! Smile
